M1b Walnut Brown : this is our AZ leather, a bit more pliable and brighter sounding than the M80 in white and M80 black.

Walnut Brown M1b : the brightest of all M1's. The density of this leather and heavy weight give it the least dampening properties compared to the black and white M1 leather. If you are close to getting your drum sound with no dampening, but still it's not quiet right, this one is for you. You can shave the ring off with 4 options until you find the perfect decay.

The M1b is engineered to control the resonance without sacrificing the brightness of the drum. One M1b has 4 different dampening settings: very light, light, medium damping, to off. Try two M1’s on the same drum for more options and control. Remember the M1 fits any size drum;(8",9,10,12,13,14,16,18, etc.) Dampen in a snap or disengage even faster with the on/off feature. Works with triple flange hoops, die cast, angel hoops, true hoops, 1/4" wood.
